Jim Marshall - President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Marshall is a graduate of Campbell University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business and a certification in Trust Management. He is also a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Banking. His whole banking career has been in North Carolina where he started with First Citizens Bank based in Raleigh. While there he served in a variety of positions including Area Vice President and Senior Vice President. He joined The Community Bank in Pilot Mountain in 1998 where he was the Branch Administrator and the Chief Credit Officer. He later spent some time with Catawba Valley Bank in Hickory and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He is currently on the Boards of the Lake Norman Youth Soccer Club, the Lake Norman YMCA, and the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce.
Don Flowe - Senior Vice President & Chief Credit Officer
Mr. Flowe is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of Duke University where he earned a Masters in Business Administration. Mr. Flowe has served in multiple roles in regional and community banks including Chief Risk Officer, Commercial Banking Group Manager and Area Executive. He was most recently the Community Markets President at Park Sterling Bank. He also currently coaches at the Lake Norman YMCA and attends Davidson United Methodist Church.
Carl Larson - Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Larson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Mr. Larson comes to the bank with 16 years of finance and accounting experience. Mr. Larson's prior roles included serving as an Audit Manager with the public accounting firm KPMG LLP, as well as holding different finance management positions at several financial institutions. Mr. Larson most recently served as CFO at Carolina Commerce Bank in Gastonia, NC.
Chris Nichols - Senior Vice President & Senior Commercial Lender
Mr. Nichols is a native of Mt. Airy, NC and has worked in the banking industry for over 20 years with over 15 years in Commercial Banking. Prior to joining blueharbor bank, Mr. Nichols was a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer with Surrey Bank & Trust of Mt. Airy, NC for 11 years. He has been active in US government lending programs including the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) and 504 loan programs, the US Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Business and Industry lending programs as well as the USDA Farm Service Agency lending programs.
Mr. Nichols is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. Mr. Nichols has been a member of the Rotary Club for 14 years and the Ruritan Club for 7 years.
Gordon Quarles - Senior Vice President & Gaston County Market Executive
Mr. Quarles is a graduate of Wofford College and the North Carolina School of Banking. He has served Gaston County slightly over 25 years in his banking career and volunteer efforts. Mr. Quarles joins our bank from Park Sterling Bank formerly known as Citizens South Bank where he was Gaston County Market President. His banking experience is inclusive of both business banking and personal banking. He has been Past President of the Salvation Army and Gastonia Breakfast Rotary Club; Past State Chairman of Ducks Unlimted; Past Vice President of the Schiele Museum; and Past Board Member and District Chairman of the Two Rivers District Piedmont Council Boy Scouts. He received the silver beaver award one of the highest awards given for service to the Boys Scouts of America. Mr. Quarles is actively involved in Gaston Community Church, Rotary, Gaston Chamber of Commerce, Gaston Family Health Services, Gaston Dance Theater and Gaston Day School.
Thomas Eatmon - Vice President & Commercial Lender
Mr. Eatmon is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance. He is also a graduate of the North Carolina Bankers Association School of Banking and of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. His entire 20 year banking career has been in the greater Charlotte area in various roles from Branch Management to Commercial Lending. Prior to joining blueharbor bank, Mr. Eatmon was a Vice President and Market Executive of the Lake Norman area for Piedmont Bank. He has been a member of the North Mecklenburg Rotary Club for over 12 years and has been an active ministry partner, serving in various leadership roles, with Lake Forest Church in Huntersville for the past 13 years.
Cliff Hunnicutt - Vice President & Business Banker
Mr. Hunnicutt has spent his 15 years in banking serving the Mooresville / Lake Norman community. With a focus on relationships he has held positions from Branch Management to Commercial Lending and Business Banking. Prior to joining blueharbor bank, Mr. Hunnicutt was Vice President of Business Banking with Park Sterling, formerly Citizens South Bank. Actively involved in the Lake community he is a charter member of Top of the Lake Mooresville Rotary Club, serves on the Board of the Sharon White Foundation and is Chair of the American Cancer Society’s Mooresville Lake Norman Relay For Life. Mr. Hunnicutt attended Georgia Southern University majoring in Journalism and is a graduate of the North Carolina Bankers Association School of Banking.
Danielle Johnson - Vice President of Deposit Operations
Mrs. Johnson is a graduate of Radford University where she received a BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. She was most recently an Assistant Vice President and Deposit Operations Supervisor for Southern Community Bank and Trust in Winston-Salem, NC. Prior to that position, she served as Financial Analyst for The Community Bank in Pilot Mountain, NC. Mrs. Johnson has been employed in the banking industry for over 12 years, all in North Carolina.
